In the name of The father
Today we saw a movie called "In The Name of The Father", made by Jim Sheridan in 1994. It's about a man from Belfast, called Gerry Conlon. He, and three of his friends are forced to take the blame for an IRA bombing in London. And his father and aunt are also blamed in this terrible case. And after a while we get to see how he and his father fight for justice, while they're spending time in prison. Gerry spends 15 years in prison before the case is taken up in the court again, and during those 15 years, his father dies. When Gerry finally became a free man, he said that he wouldn't stop fighting before the people who put him, his father and his friends, in jail, were arrested. He said he would fight in the name of his father, which is the title on the movie.
I've seen this movie before, but I didn't mind seeing it againg, because I think it tells a very important and a good story. Even though it sometimes wasn't always that interesting. But as I said, I think this story is very important, and I belive that everyone that sees this movie are thinkink about how it really was in the years before our time.
